By
way of explanation. The
term 'home business' consists of two words.
'Business' is the second one; it's there to
qualify and support the word 'home' and all
that goes with it - and not vice versa. Consequently,
we also list below, items which are of interest
and value to the home. Whether in its context
as an office or as a part of your family and
lifestyle but always
directed at the improved prospects and enjoyment
that running a business from home, in its entirety,
can bring.

overview of
starting and running a
business from home,

Which would of course, cause a conflict of
interest with the existing 'sell-out of Britain's
national interests' to America and Israel by
the country's 'useful idiot' regime of corrupt,
Tory war criminals.

https://www.fsb.org.uk/media-centre/press-releases/small-firms-urge-tax-reform-as-they-lose-5-000-and-15-working-days-a-year-to-compliance
The average small business in the UK spends
15 days and £5,000 on complying with tax
law, a survey by the Federation of Small Businesses
(FSB) has found. The majority of time was spent
on complying with VAT, PAYE and National Insurance
contributions rules. Around 55% of businesses
surveyed by the FSB were not aware of the tax
reliefs available to them, 46% struggled to
determine the correct rate of tax and 40% found
exemptions confusing. (EnterpriseQuest)

HM Courts & Tribunals Service has revealed

taxpayers have appealed their tax bill online.
The online appeals service explains the steps
that taxpayers must take before submitting an
appeal, saving them from wasting time by submitting
an application that will be rejected. It also
enables appeal applications to be amended online.

British-made food, cars and clothing are the
top three products that international consumers
are willing to pay a premium for. Consumers
from India (67%), the UAE (62%) and China (61%)
are most likely to pay more for products labelled
'made in Britain'. The research has also indicated

to provide consumers from EU countries with
the right to have faulty goods repaired or replaced
regardless of their location or nationality.
Consumers will not have to prove that the product
was faulty at the time of purchase or delivery
for up to 12 months from the date of purchase.
The rules, which will apply to both online retailers
and sales made in-store, have been developed
to standardise consumer protection laws across
the EU and provide more certainty for retailers
selling their products in other member states.

Research from the UK Trade Policy Observatory
has revealed the UK regions that are most vulnerable
to the impact of Brexit. Overall, regions in
the north of England are most vulnerable as
they export the largest proportion of services
to the EU. However, the research has also indicated
that regions with a high proportion of businesses
in the manufacturing and motor trade sectors
are particularly exposed to a downturn in demand
due to Brexit. This is because the manufacturing
and motor trade sectors are most likely to trade
with the EU. In comparison, regions with larger
professional and real estate sectors export
more to non-EU markets. (EnterpriseQuest)

01.02.2018:
Smaller firms to be worst affected by Brexit.
https://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/news/archive/2018/title,1863531,en.php
Research from the University of St Andrews has
revealed that small and medium-sized firms will
be worst affected by the UK's decision to leave
the EU. According to the research, Brexit is
expected to lead to lower levels of capital
investment, business growth, product development,
access to finance and international trade among
smaller firms. The research has also indicated
that Brexit-related uncertainty is most likely
to affect exporters and hi-tech or service-based
industries. (EnterpriseQuest)

Brexit Knobheads who didn't understand the survey.

This being the same Donald the trump who
recently emphasised that Britain and the U Shithole
America were joined at the hip, the 'special'
(terrorist) relationship was stronger than ever
and that there would be a 'great' post-Brexit
trade deal? (A state propaganda, 'fake' interview
conducted by Pee'rs Moron, mind you.)
New
EU VAT rules announced. http://europa.eu/rapid/press-release_IP-18-185_en.htm
The European Commission has announced plans
to give EU member states more flexibility to
set VAT rates and to support smaller firms and
cross-border traders. Under the plans, member
states will be able to introduce more reduced
VAT rates and exemptions for a wider range of
products and services. The Commission has also
set out its plans to tackle the disproportionate
VAT compliance costs faced by cross-border traders
when compared with those that only trade domestically.
For example, cross-border traders with an annual
turnover of less than €100,000 will be
exempt from paying VAT on sales. (EnterpriseQuest)
Fujifilm
to take over Xerox as photocopier demand drops.
http://www.bbc.com/news/business-42884631
And of course, one of the main reasons why
there has been a falling demand for Xerox is
that its customer service is absolute crap.
http://www.customerservicescoreboard.com/Xerox
In fact the best thing small businesses could
hope for would be for Xerox and its despicable
management to disappear off the face of the
planet.
