By way of explanation. The term 'home business' consists of two words. 'Business' is the second one; it's there to qualify and support the word 'home' and all that goes with it - and not vice versa. Consequently, we also list below, items which are of interest and value to the home. Whether in its context as an office or as a part of your family and lifestyle but always directed at the improved prospects and enjoyment that running a business from home, in its entirety, can bring.

For a current, multi-part overview of starting and running a business from home, go here: http://www.homebusiness.org.uk/features.htm

31.01.2017: Brexit: UK consumers more cheerful in January but also more reluctant to spend. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/brexit-uk-consumers-more-cheerful-in-january-but-also-more-reluctant-to-spend-a7554466.html

Trump: Executive order signed on business regulations. http://www.bbc.com/news/business-38800090 Described as a "two-out, one-in" approach, Donald The Trump's proposals are using exactly the same catch-phrase employed by the British regime when it promised to slash red tape for UK businesses a few years ago. Let us hope that America enjoys the benefits of more than just show-boating, propaganda and an 'alternative promise'.

30.01.2017: HMRC crackdown on smaller firms. https://www.accountancyage.com/2017/01/23/tax-crackdown-brings-in-468m-for-hmrc/ Figures collected by UHY Hacker Young have revealed that HMRC collected an additional £468 million in tax as a result of inquiries into small and medium-sized firms in 2015/16. UHY Hacker Young believes this will become more common as HMRC will refocus its investigations away from large firms to smaller firms which are considered an easier target. Roy Maugham, Tax Partner at UHY Hacker Young, said: "Without adequate care, small businesses are at risk of being pulled up over minor mistakes or small disparities, which could incur disproportionately heavy fines and penalties."

Brexit: EU is most important export market for all but one of UK's cities, reveals report. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/brexit-latest-news-eu-important-export-single-market-uk-cities-european-union-deal-us-china-a7552791.html Not the sort of report which will be appearing in Little Igerlandt's hate-preaching Brexit propaganda, then?

29.01.2017: Self-employed work less and are happier than salaried workers, study finds. http://www.bmmagazine.co.uk/news/self-employed-work-less-happier-salaried-workers-study-finds/ Still more 'fake' news from regime Brownshirts? Anyway, I thought the official and media appeal of becoming a Little Ingerlandt self-employed entrepreneur was to (ostensibly) make loadsa money and look like a well-worn bogbrush.

Tom Watson calls for UK citizens to 'buy British' in response to Brexit and Donald Trump. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/tom-watson-buy-british-brexit-donald-trump-labour-a7550661.html A bit late in the day - after the shit has hit the fan - for a British politico to be appealing to the swinish multitude to exercise a bit of patriotism and 'Buy British'. Normally, fake British politicians and Brexit Knobheads are buying Made In Israel (on land thieved from murdered Palestinians); or Made in the Good 'Ole USA - (as funded by the British taxpayer and millions of murdered, defenceless 'redskins', 'niggers' and 'ragheads').

26.01.2017: 'If they really want British businesses to thrive, our MPs should block Brexit.' http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/brexit-supreme-court-industry-british-businesses-strategy-block-europe-a7543246.html Not at all. 'Brexit' isn't the key issue in determining if British businesses will thrive. But having MPs who represent the interests of THIS country, of Britain, IS. And not of America. Or Israel. Or the arms industry. Or the banks. Or Big Corp. Which would mean the absolute decimation of British politiks, its terrorists, war criminals and traitors such as the Blairites and Tories, of course - as well as their hate-preaching, lying, propaganda tools such as its foreign, offshore media. But that is the only truly 'democratic' or 'populist' way to go. And certainly so in the best of interests of the vast majority of the country's businesses.

MPs recommend postponement of Making Tax Digital. A report from the Treasury Select Committee has recommended that the start date for Making Tax Digital (MTD) is postponed until 2019 at the earliest. The feasibility of implementing the programme of tax reforms from 2019 depends, according to the report, on Government proposals that have not yet been published. However, based on evidence submitted to the Select Committee, the report concludes that effective implementation in 2019 "looks unlikely". The current MTD commencement date of April 2018 was described by MPs as "wholly unrealistic".

If Margaret Thatcher had remained a laboratory technician instead of getting ideas above her station and, with the help of her American 'gurus' destroying British vocational training and manufacturing, we wouldn't have these problems today. As it is, the regime's belated return to apprenticeships minus basic school-leaving standards clearly isn't cutting the mustard; so, Lenin-style, let's have another 5 Year Plan, instead! In the meantime, it's back to the 'old' drawing board of inviting skilled operators from overseas to perform 'British' jobs because successive governments found it easier to sell out to the services sector; or, in other words, 'serving' the Israelis and the Americans instead.

19.01.2017: Brexit: UK to leave single market, says Theresa May. http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-38641208 At which point, Theresa May knows as much about what that means as the rest of the country.

Brexit: Boris Johnson says countries queuing up for trade deals. http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-38658998 Really? Has this observation been approved by the CIA or Mossad? Because there certainly hasn't been any 'fake' news leaked by Britain's 'respected' spymasters about this so far. So - which countries would this be?

Boris Johnson accuses EU of contemplating Nazi-style 'punishment beatings' on Britain in revenge for Brexit. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/boris-johnson-french-president-francois-hollande-nazi-brexit-eu-a7532981.html That's very helpful just now; especially for someone who comes from a country which facilitated and made money from The Holocaust. And has continued from that day to this, to make its fortune from theft, terrorism, war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity. (As not reported by hate-preaching, western terrorist propaganda. And not that anyone respects Francois Hollande's observations, either.)

94% of self-employed don’t know about the end of self-assessment. http://www.bmmagazine.co.uk/news/94-self-employed-dont-know-end-self-assessment/ That could simply be because most of the regime's 'self-employed' aren't self-employed after all!

That way, EE will be able to get their money back via the taxman.

Builders face higher prices following Brexit. http://www.fmb.org.uk/about-the-fmb/newsroom/70-of-builders-report-material-price-hikes Seven in ten builders have seen an increase in material prices as a result of the fall in the value of the pound following the UK's decision to leave the EU, according to research by the Federation of Master Builders (FMB). The research has revealed that a quarter of all materials used by the UK construction industry are imported, meaning builders are particularly vulnerable to cost increases as a result of fluctuations in the value of sterling. The FMB is warning that new-build house prices may increase as small and medium-sized builders struggle to absorb higher material prices. (http://www.enterprisequest.com)

16.01.2017: New hope for the self-employed. http://www.independent.co.uk/money/new-hope-for-the-self-employed-a7521706.html Clearly, the regime will have to pass a new law; or could the self-employed claiming some rights constitute a terrorist threat?

Theresa May to say UK is 'prepared to accept hard Brexit'. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/jan/15/theresa-may-uk-is-prepared-to-accept-hard-brexit No it isn't. 99% of the UK doesn't know what 'hard Brexit' means any more than they knew or know what 'Brexit' means. Minority terrorist regime leader, Theresa May, does not speak for the British people and certainly not for the huge majority of British businesses. No more so than the unsubstantiated 17 million knobheads who, in this day and age of digital fraud, are supposed to have voted for 'Brexit'; which, even if remotely true, represents a mere 25% of the UK population.

What is becoming increasingly clear is that the Brexit referendum has become both the mechanism and the excuse for the regime to propose - just to begin with - an 'emergency Brexit Budget' to fleece the swinish multitude of still more money they haven't got to pay for its bankrupt economic policies of terrorism and propping up the banks, while the country descends into chaos befitting a Third World banana republic run by a troop of monkeys.
