Almost one in four (24%) small business owners

from the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).
Almost half (46%) of firms also believe reporting
the crime would not achieve anything positive,

In the last two years, 66% of FSB members have

business crime is increasing.

The Rural Payments Agency (RPA) has launched
its 2016 online application system, meaning
that farmers in England and Wales can now check
the progress of Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) claims
and edit their personal and business details
online. The system can also be used to start
a BPS claim. However, it will not be possible
to completely submit a claim using only the
system until it is updated by 'Release 2', which
is expected to happen by the end of March. The
RPA has also amended its guidance on the BPS
