By
way of explanation. The
term 'home business' consists of two words.
'Business' is the second one; it's there to
qualify and support the word 'home' and all
that goes with it - and not vice versa. Consequently,
we also list below, items which are of interest
and value to the home. Whether in its context
as an office or as a part of your family and
lifestyle but always
directed at the improved prospects and enjoyment
that running a business from home, in its entirety,
can bring.

UK inflation highest in five years. http://www.wholesalenews.co.uk/news/uk-inflation-up-consumer-confidence-down.html
UK inflation reached its highest level in more
than five years in August 2017, according to
the latest figures from the Office for National
Statistics (ONS). Inflation hit 2.9% in August
2017, up from 2.6% in July 2017 and higher than
the 2.8% predicted by economists. According
to the ONS, the larger-than-expected rise in
inflation is due to the weakening of sterling
since the EU referendum, which is leading to
higher import costs for retailers. Higher consumer
prices, particularly for fuel, clothing and
footwear, also contributed to the rise in inflation.
Inflation now stands significantly higher than
the Bank of Englands 2% target and is
expected to reach 3% in October. (EnterpriseQuest)

Mr Dyson will be moving his manufacturing
back to the UK then?
Although
on the face of it, Dyson does have a point.
If you look at supermarket shelves in the UK
for example, they are absolutely packed with
European (especially French) products. Look
at supermarket shelves elsewhere in Europe (especially
in France) and you'll be lucky to spot a single
product which has been imported from Britain.
Consequently, squeezing anything which comes
from the Continent could pay dividends. However,
there are two reasons why this won't happen.
Firstly, the average British consumer is a mongrel
with absolutely no sense of patriotism or loyalty
to its own manufacturers and producers. But
more significantly and once again, as we have
been saying for decades, Britain's politicians
are even worse, mere knob polishers to Big Corp
- especially American Big Corp. And what they
would do if imports from the Continent were
to receed, would be to replace them with even
more expensive imports from the USA. Which is
probably The Big Plan, anyway.

covers data breach reporting requirements. It
corrects what the ICO believes are four well-publicised
and widely accepted myths about the GDPR, including
that it will require all data protection breaches
to be reported and that a failure to report
will always result in a fine. (EnterpriseQuest)

The French are always very keen on educating

the Brits will be better pupils than his own
countrymen.
Of
course, Barnier's lessons will only be delivered
if the British fake news, pro-Brexit propaganda
machine decides to reproduce them - which is
highly unlikely as this could lead to much embarrassment
and be tantamount to an admission that the UK's
hate-preaching media has been publishing nothing
but lies. (Which is true but that's not the
point.) Consequently, I am sure M. Barnier's
bureaucratic opinions will be best aired only
in French state propaganda instead, which does

UK manufacturing growth 'accelerates'. http://www.bbc.com/news/business-41121954
In other words, it's gone from 0 m.ph. to
1 m.ph. in reverse with its murder industry
revving up in anticipation of bombing civilians
in North Korea in addition to those it's already
bombing in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria,
the Yemen, Pakistan and various other bits 'n
bobs.

Tory

will be able to work longer hours. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/tory-peer-brexit-young-people-lord-harris-work-longer-hours-uk-leave-eu-a7922486.html
They can always work all the hours God sends
by becoming self-employed or running a small
business - which has nothing to do with Brexit,
past or present. It's also a moot point whether
Little Ingerlandt's Millennium Morons would
want to work at all, much less work longer hours.
Or, another reminder why Brexit Knobheads -
especially Tory Brexit Knobheads - are now an
international laughing stock.

do. Fall ill only when it's convenient to do
so.

Is this really 'news'? Does anyone actually
use airport bureaux de change any more, especially
after all the stories in the media? I can't
remember the last time I saw anyone actually
using one to change money - and I travel a lot.

Nearly
half of professional athletes surveyed break
rules to enhance performance. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/2017/08/30/nearly-half-professional-athletes-surveyed-break-rules-enhance/
Now here's a long-running story which hasn't
broken wind with the same degree of drama as
the west's fake news propaganda lavished on
Russian doping infringements in recent months.
Not that this is 'headline' news, either and
the content has been toned down as well without
any fingers being pointed at the systematic
doping by the Americans, the Jamaicans, the
Nigerians, etc, etc. Can't be stressing out
the 'evil' BBC, the IAAF, WADA, the IoC, the
sponsors and all the rest of the sporting world's
cheating, 'anti-doping' hypocrites, can we now?
(And especially now that Big Pharma are supplying
'leisure' performance-enhancing drugs on an
industrial scale which is where the real problem
of doping abuse exists.)
